Been Busy

The Dark Knight was awesome. I caught a late night showing on opening day and didn’t get out till about 2am. Heath Ledger was amazing as the Joker. It’s not going to be the same if we see a replacement for his part. It was odd enough to see a replacement for the part of Rachel. Definitely a movie to see in the theatres and own when it comes out.

I went to the dentist a little over a week ago to pick up another set of aligners. I finally made the decision to fix my teeth last November, and got myself Invisalign. My bottom teeth should be done in a couple months, and my top teeth (which are crazily crooked) are supposed to be straight by spring of 2009. How amazing to finally have straight teeth after so many years. Amazing that it’s not going to take me more than a year and half.

I’m working on a photo gallery section. I was able to finish setting up the code to display the images, and allow comments for each album. So as soon as I am able to populate the database with images and content, I’ll post up a link.

Upcoming: A friend’s birthday and party, a trip to Cali, another friend’s engagement party, and a family friend’s wedding.

Updated the Site

Changed the layout, and finally fixed the templates so that they work.

It’s been a month since I’ve written anything. My birthday passed, and it was nothing different. A year older. Regarding a previous post, I purchased this sewing machine for myself on my birthday. Definitely deserving of it.

The weather’s been nice for awhile. Lots of sunshine and warmth. It feels good on my now much tanner skin. Of course, the driver side arm is always slightly darker. Bleh. I skinned by elbow at my niece’s birthday party last weekend and it’s just starting to produce a clot. I didn’t initially think it was that bad. But it was a bit painful and irritated for a few days. Hopefully it won’t leave too bad of a scar.

Anyway, now that the pages are working, I’ll be able to randomly post more often.

Summer’s Coming

Memorial Weekend. Sunny days, hiking, sleepover, card games, bbq, good food, and just hanging out with friends.

I haven’t been able to get myself to post. Apologies. Summer’s rolling in, and the sun’s starting to stay longer. Warm weather always feels nice. Lots of things coming up. Rock Paper Scissors Grand Opening, my birthday, a trip with friends to the San Juan Islands I think, my niece’s ballet recital. I’ve been trying to do a lot more things for myself, and also to take the time to do things with friends. Hard to do when everyone has their own lives, but a must.

Things I hope to get back into doing: design and sew clothes, cute stuffed toys, and other sewing projects. I need a new sewing machine!

Argh, there’s too many things I want to have and want to do. I just need to get moving.

Finally Up and Running

It’s been a long time coming. I haven’t been able to take any time at all to put up my site but I’m slowly getting back into it. Still working on tweaks and things, but hopefully I’ll be able to post more.
